Our Story

Story Concierge, LLC grew out of its founder's desire to connect companies and individuals with
illustrators, fine artists and writing professionals who chronicle tales and journeys in writing,
paintings and illustrations (both book art and spot art).

Having completed a number of commercial trade book and a children's book, Leslie has again
and again been asked for advice in finding illustrators, editors, and ghost writers, and other book
related professionals.  Likewise, she has been asked by artists and authors to help market their
books, art and services. As someone who likes to make those connections happen, she decided
to start Story Concierge, LLC which very quickly grew to include The Art Concierge.

Both branches of the company are in the process of developing books which will help facilitate
connecting professional fine artists and writing professionals with industry professionals and
individuals who are likely to be interested in the services being provided by these artists and
writers. Our first book,
The Art Concierge's Introduction to 202 Children's Art Illustrators will be
published in early December 2009.

In early 2010, Leslie will also be opening a children's art gallery, The Story Art Gallery, in Sausalito,
California. By exhibiting the work of children's art illustrators in the gallery and by profiling their
work in the above mentioned book, we hope to help bring recognition to these artists and to
assist them in securing commissioned art work—including individual illustrations and book,
magazine, advertising, greeting card and other company art illustrations.
The Story Concierge

open doors where there were walls.

She holds a master's degree in literature from Mills College and received her undergraduate

management, personal branding statements, and negotiating salaries. She hopes to utilize the
gallery space during early morning weekends in the Spring to teach employment search skills to
teens and young adults. When not working, she loves to spend time with her family or biking or
